They say happiness is how you feel within.. how you appreciate what life has to offer with all the bad and the good. recently i had come in contact with a few people who advocate project happiness. A project that you work on to remind you to be thankful and grateful for all that has come to you. to remind you of the reasons that you should be happy.
This year has been an year of great change and technology is one of those areas. Beside starting school and taking up my masters i have been introduced to ICT in class and learning. If u asked me about ICT last year i don't think it would have been a very positive response. Today i can proudly say i love what the technology world has to offer and make me rethink about learning
I only learn how to get to my two feet and am already running or maybe even flying. I am not a person who accepts changes very well but this has been an interesting journey.Never in a million years did i even think i would be sitting on a computer deciding to blog.. not because i didn't want to i never took the initiative or never thought about learning to do that. Computer to me was getting to know the basics. Guy's am here blogging today!!!
The whole idea of class with desks and books changed completely when i entered the university. ICT is effective in learning anywhere anytime for all of us. I have access to information from home or while am having lunch with a colleague at the canteen.My lecturer talks about how we will have online lectures and distant learning.I have made new friends through online discussion forums and learn a great deal everyday. Learning has become more interactive with projectors that show power point presentations, hot potato quizzes and doing our own research. These 2 weeks of my journey to masters has made me realize and reflect how much ICT is making a difference in the education field. The reason i can share why i am happy with millions of people is via ICT.
It breaks my heart to have thought otherwise and i cant wait to introduce a few applications in the institution i work, however am happy for the opportunity and blessed. I hope to make change and add value in the community i live in.
ICT and i have always been friends i just forgot about how much happiness it brought me then. my reason for happiness is this new change and new opportunities.
Embracing ICT is the way to. #project happiness indeed. there is a joy that feeels your heart when you achieve a "technological mishap" that is what i felt when i finally opened my blog. it was a dream come true. i just keep on grill with #project happiness. so girl let us hold on to this treasure as we embrace technology
